About MyGreatCanvas

We are a family run canvas printing company in Tarpon Springs, Florida. Everything we sell is designed and produced in our own 7,500 square foot facility, by a team of six people, on equipment we run ourselves. Since 2016 we have shipped over 120,000 orders.

Our story

MyGreatCanvas was founded in Arizona in 2016 with one printer and a simple idea: wall art should feel connected to the person who owns it, not pulled from a catalog. In 2021 we moved the business to the Tampa Bay area, and today we operate a fully automated production facility in Tarpon Springs, Florida.

Our world map designs are original works created exclusively by our founder, Sami Eymur. We do not use stock maps, templates or ready made layouts. Every map is drawn from scratch, with its own character, detail and artistic identity. That is why our maps do not look like the ones you find everywhere else.

How your artwork is actually made

Nothing we sell is outsourced, drop shipped or printed by a third party. When you place an order, it is produced in our building, by our team, usually within one to five business days.

Printing

We print on Canon Colorado UVgel technology, the most advanced wide format printing system available for this kind of work. UVgel ink cures instantly, sits on the surface of the canvas rather than soaking in, and produces colors that stay accurate and fade resistant for decades indoors. We also run two Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-4100 printers for fine art and photographic work where the widest possible color range matters.

Canvas

Every print is made on 260gsm artist grade poly cotton canvas with an anti glare, scratch resistant finish. It holds ink evenly, will not crack when stretched, and does not reflect light back at you the way cheaper glossy canvas does.

Frames and stretcher bars

We use American pine wood. Stretcher bars are cut and assembled on automated machinery in our facility, which is how we keep corners square and edges straight even at 120 inches wide. Floating frames are available in walnut, natural, white and black. Every piece leaves with hanging hardware already installed, so it is ready to hang the moment you unpack it.

Size

We print up to 120 x 60 inches on a single canvas. Most online stores stop well short of that, which is why customers with large walls, open plan living rooms and stairwells end up finding us.

What we make

Canvas prints and framed prints across abstract, farmhouse, coastal, minimalist, landscape, animal, floral and Banksy style artwork; stadium and sports wall art; original world map art; custom push pin travel maps; personalized photo canvases; and custom family signs. Sizes run from 36 x 24 inches to 120 x 60 inches, as single panels or multi panel sets, gallery wrapped or in a floating frame.
