Understanding Our Size Guide
All dimensions are listed in inches as width × height and refer to each individual panel. Gaps between panels are not included.
How To Measure Your Wall
Use a tape measure to note the width and height of the open wall area you want to fill. As a general rule, artwork looks best when it covers about two-thirds of the width of the furniture below it, such as a sofa, bed or console table. Hang the center of the piece at about 57 to 60 inches above the floor, at average eye level.
Tips For Choosing The Right Size
Above a standard 84-inch sofa, 60 x 40 or 72 x 36 works well. Above a queen bed, 60 x 30 to 72 x 36. Above a king bed or a large sectional, 90 x 40 or larger. For a dining room or office wall, 47 x 31 to 60 x 40. When in doubt, go one size larger; small art on a big wall is the most common mistake we see.

FAQ
Have questions about your custom push pin map, shipping times, or canvas sizes? We’ve got you covered! Explore our frequently asked questions below to find everything you need to know about tracking your global adventures.
Frequently asked questions
1. Will poking push pins into the canvas damage the artwork?
Answer: Not at all! Our canvas maps are backed with a dense, premium foam/cork core support layer. This allows you to insert and relocate push pins repeatedly without causing any sagging, tearing, or permanent warping to the canvas fabric.
2. How do I customize my world map?
- Answer: You can customize it completely in real-time right on the product page! Simply pick your map size, choose your preferred tracking legend style, and type in your names or anniversary date. Our instant live preview shows exactly how your map will look, allowing you to check out immediately without waiting days for a designer's proof.
3. Are the push pins/map tacks included with my order?
- Answer: Yes! Every push pin world map includes a free starter box of 100 metallic push pins featuring a curated mix of 5 premium colors (Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, Gunmetal, and Pearl) so you can start tracking your travels right out of the box. If you think 100 pins won't be enough for your adventures, you can purchase extra packs in your favorite colors; click here to buy additional pins.
4. Are the print quality and colors as sharp as they look online?
Answer: Absolutely. We use state-of-the-art high-resolution Giclée printing with fade-resistant archival inks on thick canvas. The text and geographical details are crystal clear, and the rich matte vintage tones look exactly like the product photos.
5. Is the canvas ready to hang out of the box, or do I need a frame?
- Answer: It comes completely ready to hang! The canvas is gallery-wrapped and stretched over a sturdy, warp-resistant solid wood frame with hanging hardware pre-installed on the back. No extra framing or assembly is required.
6. How is my map packaged?
- Answer: Your canvas is wrapped in protective bubble layers, fitted with corner guards, and shipped inside a heavy-duty cardboard box to guarantee safe delivery.
7. What is the shipping time, and how is the item produced?
